GEODESY in a nutshell: The GEODESY is not a detector - IT DOES NOT DETECT ANYTHING - It knows where they all are.  The GEODESY is loaded with a database of all the Speed Detection Device locations in the country that is updateable via the Desktop Modem (supplied).  Armed with a state of the art GPS (Global Positioning System) engine, it is able to locate you (your vehicle) with pinpoint accuracy and calculate your position in relation to the locations stored in the database on board.  With this valuable information the GEODESY can accurately without fail forewarn you as you approach any of the locations by illuminating the scale of ten indicators on the front of the unit individually.  At five illuminated there is an audible alarm to increase awareness - Ten out of ten and you will be on target!
